At Molloy, you’ll benefit from:

  • Your choice of career-focused tracks. Go with the general biology track, or focus your studies with the pre-professional medical programs track if you’d like to be a doctor or dentist, or pre-allied medical programs track if your goal is to be a physician assistant or therapist.
  • Hands-on experience. You’ll complete at least one semester of field experience—and have an opportunity to participate in original research (depending on your track) with faculty.
  • Working with leading professionals in class—and the lab. The same expert who works with you in the classroom also acts as your lab instructor (not a lab assistant).

  • Access to state-of-the-art lab facilities. Our labs easily facilitate protocols in molecular biology, immunology, genetics, fluorescence microscopy, tissue culture and forensics. You’ll also have access to our Center for Environmental Research and Coastal Oceans Monitoring, a 2,500-square foot lab in the West Sayville Boat Basin.

Geoscience and Environmental Biology
