Accelerated Second Degree: Fast Track Options Available

With a prior Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field and course prerequisites met*, you can obtain your nursing degree on a fast track with the option to complete the program in 16, 19 or 24 months.

Designed for individuals with a bachelor’s (or higher) degree in a non-nursing major, this flexible program enables you to achieve your dream of a nursing career while you live your life.

At Molloy, you’ll benefit from:

  • A personalized approach to your education. You may complete prerequisite courses at Molloy, be admitted into the accelerated BS in nursing, or dually admitted into both the BS and MS in nursing programs.
  • The opportunity to take graduate courses while earning your bachelor’s. Depending on your GPA, you may be permitted to take courses toward your master’s while completing your BS in nursing. (You’re required to pass the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX-RN) and complete one year of full-time clinical experience as an RN to continue with graduate nursing courses after completing your BS.)

LPN to BS mobility

If you’re a licensed practical nurse (LPN) looking to advance your healthcare career—and make an even greater difference in patients’ lives—enroll in the Molloy LPN to BS mobility program and earn your bachelor’s in nursing degree.

At Molloy, you’ll benefit from:

  • College credits for your experience. In this program, you may qualify for advanced standing opportunities based on your academic preparation and clinical practice experience as an LPN.
  • Generous transfer credit policies. You may transfer credits earned at another college or university. Additional credits may be earned through division developed challenges and CLEP examination of identified liberal arts and science courses.

The Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post-graduate APRN certificate programs at Molloy University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Molloy University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Both the CCNE and the MSCHE are institutional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The International Nursing Association for Clinical Stimulation & Learning has endorsed Molloy’s Barbara Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences for the Core Four Standards: Prebriefing, Debriefing, Facilitation, and Professional Integrity. Scholarships & Financial Aid

One of the nation’s top value colleges, Molloy offers affordable tuition together with graduate assistantships. Graduate assistants receive three graduate credits per semester and a stipend. There also is a special scholarship for mental health counseling graduate students.
