Respiratory Care

The need for respiratory care professionals is growing. In fact, The Bureau of Labor lists respiratory care as one of the top-10 developing fields in allied health sciences. With a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from Molloy University, you can be part of this rapidly expanding field and spend your days helping people, saving lives, and giving something back to your community.
As a licensed respiratory therapist, you will practice under the care of a physician, evaluating and treating all types of patients—from premature infants with underdeveloped lungs to elderly people whose lungs are diseased—with the skill and professionalism you acquire at Molloy.

  • Licensing preparation. You’ll be eligible to sit for credentialing exams to achieve licensure as a respiratory technician or respiratory therapist.
